I spent the last hour reading and rereading Ada 's book and the District plan....Reading about Ada Dolch' s experience really hits home with how important practice is. Practice and regular discussion with staff is critical if you have to make a change for the safety of everyone.

Thanks so much for sharing Ada's story! Safety of our students has never been more important. Ada's right - it's not a matter of "if" but "when"...
The lessons in Principles for Principals, Leading the Way to School Safety are valuable reminders of being prepared for a campus/community emergency.
As we plan for the upcoming school year, I'm eager to implement these tools in order to provide a safe learning environment.
