Nancymusic.com is Nancy’s artist site. It offers a free song download every month, with access to all past songs of the month since 2001. Each song provides the mp3 file, sheet music with chords, activities, prop patterns, and related materials. These are great for teachers and librarians as they provide year-round songs to compliment typical themes. All are simple to sing and free to share, and all have been classroom tested and kid-approved!
Archived songs are organized alphabetically, by month and year, by category, and by playlist. Below is an example of how you might use each of these lists in different ways.
Archived songs are organized alphabetically, by month and year, by category, and by playlist. Below is an example of how you might use each of these lists in different ways.
- Listed by month and year: Need some winter holiday songs? Listen to the December and January songs archived form the last fifteen years.
- Play Lists: Want a song to use to help children clean up quickly? Go to the classroom management play list for this and other songs related daily transitions and activities.
- Listed by Category: Looking for a counting song or finger play? All of these are grouped together, as are movement songs and other topics.
- Alphabetically: Need a dinosaur song? You’ll find it alphabetically under “D.” I’ve tried to title songs in a way that makes them easy to locate.
- In addition to songs there are activities pages with things like instructions for homemade instruments and songs to use with them.
