Link to the Earthquake and Tsunami: Information and Resources for Schools (2012) teacher training materials fat the International Tsunami Information web site. They are based on concepts and materials from Washington State Tsunami Train-the-Trainer Program, Washington Department of Natural Resources, Washington Emergency Management Hazard Mitigation Plan, Earthquake/Tsunami Program Public Education Materials, Western States Seismic Policy Council, International Tsunami Information Center, National Tsunami Hazard Mitigation Program, and Washington Superintendent of Public Instruction. The Introduction Includes (Units 1) Earthquakes and (Unit 2) Understanding WA Earthquake Sources. The next series focuses on Tsunamis including, (Unit 3) Defining Tsunamis, (Unit 4) Pacific-Wide Tsunamis, (Unit 5) Tsunami Warning System WA, and (Unit 6) Earthquake and Tsunami Preparedness. The final unit in this series is (Unit 7) Learning Activities which includes References, Glossary, References and About the Authors)

The Tsunami Curriculum consist of two publications:
(1) Kindergarten-to-Grade 6, and (2) Grade 7-12.
Each publication includes background reading, class and student activities along with exercise sheets that can be photocopied for distribution, and a teacher's guide explaining the lesson's goals and objectives.
The Curriculums were published originally in hard copy by the Washington Military Department of the Emergency Management Division of Washington state, USA, but have been converted to electronic format by ITIC with their permission. Portions of the documents are based on the USA Federal Emergency Management Agency Tremor Troop and Seismic Sleuths Curriculums.
