Jorge Martinez - Photograper & Videographer
Jorge Martinez was born in a little town in Mexico in 1986. His interest in photography and video began when he was a child. One day he stumbled across a Video 8 camcorder in his uncle’s garage. From that day forward, every time he had an opportunity to capture family moments, he was there record the events . At age 13, he received his first camera as a Christmas gift. It was a Kodak ektralite 10 flash 110 film pocket camera, which was his faithful companion for many years to come.
After some time of self-learning photography, he enrolled in the Universidad del Valle de Orizaba (UNIVO) to pursue a degree in Marketing. He still continued to develop his interest in photography along with learning about helping grow different businesses and contribute somehow in the economic growth of his town. At the Universidad del Valle de Orizaba (UNIVO) he then attended various courses where he learned about: digital theory, composition in photography, artificial lighting, etcetera.
Eventually, he had the opportunity to immigrate to United States where he started a family and now is the proud father of two wonderful children. They are the center of his attention, and that’s how he began to polish his skills in taking portraits.
